The Applications Architect will have demonstrable architectural experience in a software/applications environment (including Oracle), have experience of consolidating and simplifying complex, interrelated application systems and knowledge of application centred projects delivered using a structured methodology such a Prince2.
Due to the hands on nature of the role with a high degree of business-facing activity the candidate will be expected to represent the IT applications strategy and roadmap in clear written and verbal communications and be capable of articulating convincingly to senior managers outside IT. The successful applicant will also have a close interest in the business-drivers for applications architecture and be keen to work closely with the business and IT applications group to develop a cohesive and clear approach.
Any experience of TOGAF, Zachman, Oracle e-Business Suite and/or JD Edwards is also highly desirable but not essential.
Your initial role will be to help consolidate my clients complex applications suite and to put in place an architectural practise.
